2011
One Man in His Van
In 2011, Sonny began the RS Wheels story, working in a van he personally designed and tested to deliver top-quality mobile alloy repairs. With the support of his father, Russell, he committed himself to a clear yet ambitious mission: to set a new industry standard for alloy wheel repairs.

2014
RS Wheels is Established
As more technicians joined him in providing top notch mobile alloy repairs, in 2014 Sonny was able to establish RS Wheels Refurbishment Ltd.

2018
Sheffield Workshop Opens
As the business continued to grow and demand increased, Russell and Sonny realised they could no longer rely on external suppliers to meet the needs of their customers. This prompted the opening of their Sheffield workshop, allowing them to offer both alloy repairs and full powder coat refurbishments in-house.

Russell Joins RS Wheels
After spending over 30 years in his previous role, Russell made the decision to embrace a new challenge and join Sonny in leading RS Wheels. His focus is on strengthening industry relationships and driving business growth within the automotive sector, bringing decades of experience and insight to the company.

December 2021
North East Region Established
With over 20 years of experience in the motor trade industry, Jason Griffiths joined RS Wheels as Director of the North East Region in 2022. His expertise has been vital in establishing the RS Wheels presence in areas all across the North East region.

February 2022
Yorkshire gets its first Diamond Cutting Van
In 2022, RS Wheels acquired its first Diamond Cutting van, significantly enhancing their capabilities and allowing them to expand the range of services available.

North West Region Established
Bringing with him a wealth of experience from the motor trade industry, Director Paul Carr established RS Wheels in the North West in 2022.

June 2022
South Region Established
In 2022, John Hughes joined RS Wheels as Director for RS Wheels South. Since then, the region has seen rapid growth, driven by word-of-mouth referrals and increasing demand from dealerships.

January 2023
Scotland Region Established
With over 22 years of experience, Steve Taylor joined in 2023 to establish RS Wheels in Scotland. Rapidly Expanding since then to include two state-of-the-art CNC lathe repair vans!

Sheffield Body Shop Opens
In 2024, in response to growing demand for cosmetic services, RS Wheels expanded their Sheffield workshop to include a dedicated space for bodywork and repairs.

After more than 10 years in business, it was time for a refresh. RS Wheels has recently undergone a full brand update, while still maintaining the familiar RS Wheels identity you know and love!

With the introduction of a CNC van in our South region, RS Wheels can proudly say we are able to offer our impeccable onsite diamond cutting services nationwide.
