TERMS & CONDITIONS
Workshop Booking Deposit Policy
Due to an increase of last-minute cancellations, we are now requiring a £10 deposit per wheel for customers when booking in SMART repair or wheel refurbishment services.
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide at least 48 hours notice.
Unfortunately, if less than 48 hours notice is given, or if you miss your appointment, the deposit will be non-refundable.
Workshop Loan Wheel Policy
By accepting and using the loan wheels from RS Wheels Refurbishment Ltd, customers agree to maintain them in good condition throughout the loan period. Customers are fully responsible for any damage incurred to the wheels or tyres during this time. Any costs associated with repairs or replacements will be the responsibility of the customer or their insurance provider.
In the event of an accident involving the loaned wheels, customers must report the incident to RS Wheels Refurbishment Ltd within 2 working days.
All loaned wheels and tyres are inspected before installation to ensure they meet the minimum legal safety standards as set by the DVLA. However, it is the customer’s responsibility to regularly check the wheels and tyres for safety, including compliance with legal requirements for tread depth, pressure, and overall condition.
The loaned wheels and tyres must be returned in the same condition as when they were received. Any items returned in unsatisfactory condition will incur a refurbishment charge of £30, along with the cost of replacing any damaged tyres. An administration fee of 10% of the total costs will also apply.
Workshop Welds & Buckles Policy
At RS Wheels Refurbishment Ltd, we strive to provide high-quality weld and buckle repairs. However, customers are advised that such repairs cannot be guaranteed to restore the wheel to its original strength or integrity. While we take every precaution to ensure the repair is performed to the highest standards, there remains a risk of future issues arising from factors beyond our control.
RS Wheels Refurbishment Ltd will not be liable for any further problems or damages that may occur after the completion of the repair service. It is the customer’s responsibility to regularly inspect their wheels for any signs of distress or failure.
By proceeding with the service, customers acknowledge and accept these terms and release RS Wheels Refurbishment Ltd from any liability related to the performance or reliability of repaired wheels.
Wheel Torque Policy
At the end of each service, when the wheels are fitted back onto a vehicle, we ensure that they are torqued to the manufacturers requirements.
RS Wheels recommends that customers retorque their wheels after 25 miles of driving, to ensure optimal safety and performance. This is the responsibility of any dealership before handing a vehicle over to a customer or of the customer themselves.
We are happy to retorque any wheels on request.
SMART Repair Policy
Please note that our alloy wheel SMART Repair service is designed to improve the appearance of damage to your wheels. While we always strive to complete repairs to the highest industry standards, it is important to understand that a SMART Repair is not a perfect or permanent solution. Although the service can significantly enhance the look of the damage, it may not fully restore the wheel to its original condition.
For a more thorough and longer-lasting result, we strongly recommend considering a full powder coat refurbishment.
Aftercare Advice:
Following completion of the repair, we advise customers not to wash their wheels for a minimum of 48 hours. This allows the repaired finish to fully cure and set, helping to achieve the best possible durability and appearance. Exposure to water, cleaning products, or wheel cleaners within this period may compromise the finish.
